डीसी सोलन ने 2 माह तक धारा 144 लागू करने के जारी किए आदेश
सोलन जिला की परिधि में अश्वनी खड्ड के भीतर एवं आस-पास के क्षेत्र में सभी अनाधिकृत पर्यटकों एवं व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों पर तुरन्त प्रभाव से प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया गया है। डीसी सोलन कृतिका कुल्हारी ने आपराधिक दण्ड संहिता की धारा 144 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए इस सम्बन्ध में आवश्यक आदेश जारी किए हैं।इन आदेशों के अनुसार अश्वनी खड्ड के किनारे ऐसे स्थानों जहां जल के दूषित होने की सम्भावना है, पर खान-पान स्टाल, कियोस्क, ढाबा, होटल इत्यादि चलाने एवं स्थापित करने पर भी प्रतिबन्ध रहेगा। नदी में नहाना एवं पिकनिक इत्यादि गतिविधियां आयोजित करने पर पूर्ण प्रतिबन्ध रहेगा। नदी के किनारों अथवा जल में किसी भी प्रकार का कचरा फैंकने की सख्त मनाही है।आदेशों में स्पष्ट किया गया है कि सोलन शहर तथा आस-पास के क्षेेत्रों के लिए पेयजल का स्त्रोत अश्वनी खड्ड है तथा पिकनिक जैसी गतिविधियां आयोजित कर जल स्त्रोत को दूषित करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस प्रकार की गतिविधियां स्वास्थ्य के लिए घातक सिद्ध हो सकती हैं। नदी के जल स्तर में अचानक वृद्धि से ऐसी गतिविधियां जानो-माल की बड़ी क्षति का कारण भी बन सकती हैं। इन आदेशों के उल्लंघन पर दोषियों के विरूद्ध विधि सम्मत कार्रवाही अमल में लाई जाएगी। यह आदेश तुरन्त प्रभाव से लागू हो गए हैं तथा आज से दो माह की अवधि तक प्रभावी रहेंगे। बता दे कि बॉर्डर खुलने के साथ ही प्रदेश में पर्यटकों की तादाद बढ़ने लगी थी,ऐसे में जिला सोलन के अश्वनी खड्ड और साधुपुल में नदी किनारे पर्यटकों की तादाद बढ़ने लगी थी,और जिस कारण नदी किनारे गंदगी फेलनी शुरू हो चुकी थी। ऐसे में सोलन शहर तथा आस-पास के क्षेेत्रों के लिए पेयजल के स्त्रोत अश्वनी खड्ड में पिकनिक जैसी गतिविधियां आयोजित कर जल स्त्रोत को दूषित करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा था।
