किन्नौर,

जिला किन्नौर में करछम-सांगला-छितकुल सड़क मार्ग एक बार फिर हादसों की जद में आ गया है। बुधवार देर रात करीब 11 बजे करछम स्थित विद्युत परियोजना की डैम साइट के नजदीक सड़क का बड़ा हिस्सा धंस गया। सड़क पर चौड़ी दरारें आने से वाहनों की आवाजाही खतरे में पड़ गई है।

यह मार्ग सांगला और छितकुल जैसे प्रसिद्ध पर्यटन स्थलों को जोड़ता है और रक्छम सहित दर्जनों पंचायत क्षेत्रों के लिए जीवनरेखा माना जाता है। हर साल हजारों सैलानी इसी रास्ते से यात्रा करते हैं। सड़क धंसने से स्थानीय लोगों और पर्यटन कारोबार दोनों की चिंता बढ़ गई है।

स्थानीय निवासियों का कहना है कि डैम क्षेत्र के आसपास पहले भी भूस्खलन और सड़क धंसने की घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं, मगर स्थायी समाधान की दिशा में गंभीर प्रयास नहीं किए गए। यही कारण है कि अब भारी वाहनों और रात के समय सफर करने वाले यात्रियों के लिए यह मार्ग और भी खतरनाक बन गया है।

इधर, स्थिति की जानकारी मिलते ही बीआरओ पवारी के ओसी प्रदीप सिंह ने मौके पर पहुंचकर निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने परियोजना प्रबंधन को तुरंत सड़क दुरुस्त करने और सुरक्षा इंतजाम बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए, ताकि लोगों और पर्यटकों को आने-जाने में असुविधा न हो।
