हिमाचल प्रदेश में बीते 3 दिनों से भारी बारिश का दौर जारी है। भारी बारिश ने बीते 7 दशकों का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है। मौसम वैज्ञानिकों की माने तो राज्य में एक पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय हुआ है जिसके कारण जम्मू कश्मीर और हिमाचल में भारी बारिश हो रही है। इससे तापमान में कमी रिकॉर्ड की जा रही है। यही वजह है कि अब समय से पहले ही ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में ताजा बर्फबारी भी शुरू हो गई है। मौसम विभाग शिमला द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों पर नजर दौड़ाएं तो भारी बारिश और बर्फबारी के कारण अधिकतम तापमान में भी 5 से 9 डिग्री तक गिरावट दर्ज की जा रही है।
राज्य मौसम विभाग के वैज्ञानिक संदीप शर्मा ने बताया कि बीते 24 घंटों में राज्य के लगभग सभी जिलों में भारी बारिश का दौर जारी है। फिलहाल प्रदेश में एक पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय है। बीते 24 घंटों में जिला कुल्लू, लाहौल स्पीति और चंबा की ऊंची चोटियां जिनमें ज्यादातर पास जैसे शिंकुला पास, बारालाचा पास, रोहतांग पास व हनुमान टिब्बा पर ताज़ा बर्फबारी रिकॉर्ड की गई है।
इसके साथ ही जिला बिलासपुर, शिमला, चंबा और हमीरपुर में भारी बारिश रिकॉर्ड की गई है। सबसे ज्यादा बारिश जिला बिलासपुर 198 एमएम, जिला शिमला के रोहड़ू में 80 एमएम, हमीरपुर में 60 एमएम बारिश रिकॉर्ड की गई है। इसके साथ ही मॉनसून पूरे राज्य में सक्रिय रहा है जिसके कारण लगभग सभी जिलों में ही बारिश रिकॉर्ड की जा रही है।
आगामी 24 घंटों में भी जिला चंबा, कांगड़ा, कुल्लू में बहुत भारी बारिश का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। जबकि जिला मंडी, शिमला, सिरमौर, सोलन, किन्नौर और लाहौल स्पीति में भारी बारिश का ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। साथ ही जिला लाहौल स्पीति में फ्लैश फ्लड का अलर्ट भी दिया गया है। जिला बिलासपुर, हमीरपुर और ऊना में येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा 3 सितंबर को भी राज्य के लगभग सभी जिलों में बारिश का क्रम जारी रहेगा। हालांकि 3 तारीख के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। जिला मंडी सिरमौर और कांगड़ा में भारी बारिश का ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। फिर 4 सितंबर से बारिश में थोड़ी कमी आएगी। मौसम वैज्ञानिक संदीप शर्मा ने कहा राज्य भर में दिन के तापमान सामान्य से 5 से 9 डिग्री कम चल रहे हैं। शिमला में तापमान 15 डिग्री जो कि सामान्य से 7 डिग्री कम है, कुल्लू के भुंतर में 20 डिग्री सामान्य से 8 डिग्री कम, मंडी में दिन का तापमान 22 डिग्री सामान्य से 9 डिग्री कम, ऊना में 21.8 डिग्री सामान्य 8 डिग्री कम रिकॉर्ड किया गया है। यही नहीं न्यूनतम तापमान भी सामान्य से 2 से 3 डिग्री तक कम रिकॉर्ड किए जा रहे हैं। बारिश और बर्फबारी के कारण तापमान में कमी देखी जा रही है।
पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय होने और तापमान कम होने के कारण पहाड़ों की ऊंची चोटियों पर बर्फबारी रिकॉर्ड की जा रही है।
