हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने धार्मिक पर्यटन को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाने की दिशा में बड़ा कदम उठाया है। मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने राज्य के प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थलों के जीर्णोद्धार और आधुनिक सुविधाओं के विस्तार पर विशेष ध्यान देने की घोषणा की है।
इसी क्रम में दियोटसिद्ध स्थित बाबा बालक नाथ मंदिर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के लिए 65 करोड़ रुपये की विशेष परियोजना स्वीकृत की गई है। यह योजना एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) के सहयोग से लागू होगी। परियोजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य मंदिर परिसर और इसके आसपास के इलाके का सौंदर्यीकरण, ढांचागत विकास और श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बेहतर सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करना है।
हर साल लाखों श्रद्धालु बाबा बालक नाथ के दरबार में मत्था टेकने पहुंचते हैं। पीक सीजन में यहां एक साथ भारी भीड़ उमड़ने के कारण व्यवस्थाएं कई बार चुनौतीपूर्ण हो जाती हैं। इस नई योजना से न केवल यात्रियों की आवाजाही सहज होगी, बल्कि उनकी यात्रा अधिक आरामदायक और सुरक्षित भी बन सकेगी।
प्रदेश सरकार का मानना है कि इस परियोजना से दियोटसिद्ध क्षेत्र का समग्र विकास होगा और धार्मिक पर्यटन को नई गति मिलेगी। इसके साथ ही स्थानीय लोगों के लिए रोजगार के अवसर भी बढ़ेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री ने इसे क्षेत्र की अर्थव्यवस्था और पर्यटन के लिए ऐतिहासिक कदम बताया है।
